Congratulations to Sophie Curtis from Marchex.com!  She is our lucky iPad giveaway winner from Search Engine Stratgies ew York!
We caught up with Sophie after the initial shock of winning wore off with some hard hitting questions:

Advertise.com: What is Marchex and what do you do for the company?
Sophie: Marchex is a performance advertising company that provides call and click based online advertising products.   I’m the Director of Customer Service and Sales Operations.

Advertise.com: Who was the first person you told after you won and what was their reaction?
Sophie: I told my co-worker Read Judah “I just won an iPad!” and he replied, “NO WAY!”  We were both stunned.

Advertise.com: What is Marchex and what do you do for the company?

Advertise.com: Who was the first person you told after you won and what was their reaction?
Sophie: I told my co-worker Read Judah “I just won an iPad!” and he replied, “NO WAY!”  We were both stunned.

Advertise.com: Have you ever won anything else?
Sophie: Never!  This is my first “big prize.”

Advertise.com: What do you plan on using the ipad for?
Sophie: Once I get the iPad, I’ll be thrilled to start using it at work.  I’m looking forward to trying it out when I give presentations using ClearSlide as well as note taking or managing my calendar.  I’ve heard the Salesforce.com App is pretty cool as well.  I’ll probably also use it to read books and watch movies on my commute and when I travel.

Of course you do! Who doesn’t?! What if we told you that just by sending one Tweet you have the chance to win your very own Apple iPad? Well guess what…that’s what we’re telling you!

In addition to our famous “business card drop” this year at ad:tech we are hosting a Twitter contest called, “I want an iPad from @advertisedotcom!” The rules are simple and totally worth the coolest product on the market today. All attendees have to do is stop by our booth (#5869) at the show and take a picture with our iPad! You then must Tweet the photo with the phrase “I want an iPad from @advertisedotcom #adtechSF” without the quotes.

This will automatically enter you to win the iPad that you held! The Advertise.com team will chose a winner from published tweets and Tweet the winner’s handle from our handle @advertisedotcom. The winner can then claim their iPad from the Advertise.com team.

Maybe you’re one of the lucky ones who have an iPad. Or maybe you just ogle your friend’s or colleague’s or sister’s boyfriend’s. Then there are the those who had-an-iPad-and-destroyed-it. Take a look at their anti-Pad videos if you haven’t already. Crazy stuff.
